THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS

The board of directors is elected by the shareholders to oversee the executive management of the company and to ensure that the long-term interests of the shareholders and other interested parties are being served.

The board of directors is ultimately responsible for the management of the company and for supervising its day-to-day business and activities in general. Its main responsibilities are to determine and oversee the company's overall vision, objectives and strategy. The board of directors also ensures that the company's activities are well organized, keeping itself informed about the company's financial situation and ensuring that the company's risk exposure is handled by the management in an appropriate manner.

Members of the Board:

Lars Andresen
Chairman of the Board

Mr. Andresen was one of the co-founders of Q-Free ASA (the world leader in electronic road-user charges and tolling). He is now working as an investor and has extensive experience from board work and technology investments. Mr. Andresen owns 18.36 percent of AUROTECH ultrasound AS.

Svein Wognild
Board Member

Mr. Wognild was the founder of Metron AS (test equipment for medical equipment), later acquired by Fluke Biomedical. He has long-standing experience as a board member and investor in several technology companies. Mr. Wognild owns 26.61 percent of AUROTECH ultrasound AS.

Audun Græsli
Board Member

Mr. Græsli was a co-founder of AUROTECH ultrasound AS and holds the position as CTO of the company. Mr. Græsli owns 16.27 percent of AUROTECH ultrasound AS.

Svenn-Tore Larsen
Board Member

Mr. Larsen is the CEO of Nordic Semiconductor ASA, a Oslo Stock Exchang listed company. He has broad international experience and has been working as CEO for Nordic Semiconductor since 2002. Mr. Larsen has previously held management positions for Xilinx Inc. and Philips Semiconductor. He is an Electronic Engineer from the University of Strathclyde, UK.
